So how about a T-Mobile G3?

I didn't jump into android till the T-Mobile G2 by HTC. But that phone is the reason why I stayed with android. It was a great phone and I feel it set the bar to what an android phone should do. LG messed up on the G2x so I think T-Mobile should have HTC developed it.
