T-Mobile My Account app not updating

There was a recent update to the My Account app for Android. After downloading this app it now displays my minutes and messages used to date on my notification bar. However, the data seems to be stale. It has not updated for about a week and half. Which caused me to use a lot more minutes than I thought had, and I've almost gone over my allotment for the month.

 

The option to attach a photo is disabled for some reason. So here's a link to a screen shot of the issue. Notice the current date at the top of the screen shot versus the date in the My Account notification.
