Long story short, Galaxy S2 rooted, switched from pre-paid to post-paid today. After activation/new sim, it wasn't connecting to data or making calls. Took it back to the store to make sure the sim was ok. After trying a few things, Employee walked away and came back with it downloading some junk ("updates"?) I didn't agree to or ask them to install. Couldn't get it stopped in time. Phone is now bricked.
Not a warranty issue, the phone is a couple of years old anyway. This is a liability issue. Can I hold this store responsible? Just paid $150 to have a shattered screen on this phone repaired before switching from pre-paid.
