Recover your Google account username: Android

You may lose or forget your Google account username. If this happens, you cannot sign in to access the Gmail account, Calendar, Play Store, or other features on their phone.

To recover a lost or forgotten username for the Google account, follow these steps:

1. From a computer or mobile browser, go to https://www.google.com/accounts/recovery.
2. Select I don't know my username.
3. Select Continue.
4. Type the recovery email address and the first and last name on teh account.
5. Enter the characters you see in the CAPTCHA picture.
   
   
   
   
6. Select Continue.
7. Select from the recovery options:
   • Answer my security question
   • Get a verification code on my phone
   • Verify your identity by answering multiple questions about your account

If you still cannot sign in, you can create a new Google account and use it instead. Refer to how to's for your device.
