I have an unlocked Moto X that I have been using on T-Mobile for many months.
A friend of mine has the Moto X on Verizon, and he is using ISIS Mobile Wallet (Isis Mobile Wallet app FAQ) and recommended I get it.
I called T-Mobile customer service to inquire about getting ISIS wallet on my phone, and they told me I needed to install an ISIS SIM card to have it work on my phone. Yesterday I got an ISIS SIM card from T-Mobile, installed it in my phone, and activated. Today I went to the ISIS website to download the app (Get started | Isis Wallet™), but when I click on the T-Mobile tab I do not see the Moto X as one of the available phones on which I can install ISIS (oddly, however, if one clicks on the Verizon or AT&Ttab, the Moto X shows up there).
I figured maybe it was a bug in the ISIS website, so I tried going to the Play store directly to download the app (Isis Mobile Wallet - Android Apps on Google Play), but it says that the app is not compatible with my Moto X device.
What gives? Why does it work with the Moto X on AT&T, but not the Moto X on T-Mobile? Is it simply that T-Mobile hasn't given a stamp of approval on the Moto X because T-Mobile doesn't sell it in its stores? If so, how do we go about getting T-Mobile to give its stamp of approval so that I can download ISIS Wallet to my unlocked Moto X phone?
