Hello,
I contacted T-Mobile about this earlier. Nothing was really resolved, I was simply told that this matter was forwarded to technical support and that T-Mobile could be contacted again if something else were to come up. I was also told that the phones are safe to use. The phones aren't acting up or anything, but I am still confused and concerned, so here I am.
Here's the problem: Last night my mom's and dad's phones sent out text messages without my mom and dad doing so. The messages appear as if my mom and dad had texted each other the same messages at the same time. One message says "I am in class", the other is like a blank video or something.
Here is a photo of my mom's phone. I've circled the messages. 'CE' is my dad. The view of my dad's phone is exactly the same-- the content of the two messages, the time and date the messages were sent and received-- except, of course, the sender and receiver is my dad instead of my mom.
What could this be? Has someone, I guess, hacked into the phones or something? I viewed the video that was sent, I actually clicked on the little play button (it's just a quick, silent, entirely black video. Or maybe it's an entirely black photo; I don't know); is this okay? And are the phones truly safe to use?
I would greatly appreciate it if someone were to get back to me about this.
