I'm having trouble with my phone's touchscreen being disabled when it's woken by an incoming call. Some of the time (about 1 in 4?) when sleeping and someone calls in, the phone will show the standard "Swipe icon to answer" screen, but will completely ignore my touches. I'll touch, swipe, tap, whack: nothing. The only way to fix it seems to be to put the phone back to sleep and then wake it again, after which of course the call has gone to voice mail. Very, very frustrating.
Other than this, the screen seems to function perfectly reliably; it's only when the phone is woken by an incoming call that this may happen. There doesn't seem to be a correlation with what the frontmost app is, or anything else I can think of. My guess is that this is a software problem rather than a hardware problem.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Dan
